Christmas 2008

This year we celebrated Christmas at Liane and Paul's house and little Paul of course was the center of attention as he is the only kid again. Krista and Scott recently moved to Montana so it was Bert & me, mom & Bob, Liane, Paul, and Paul. It was a very nice little Christmas. I wish we were able to be with the rest of the family unfortunately we weren't able to this year so we enjoyed a Christmas in town. I really had a good time even though it was just us, and we did miss everyone else.

Liane advised Paul would probably by up by 6:30 so Bert and I woke up at 4:30 so we could see what Santa brought us and get up, get ready, and drive to mom and Liane's. We arrived at moms at about 6 AM and woke mom and Bob up. While they were getting ready we ensured all of the presents were delivered to Liane and Paul's. To ensure Paul didn't see what Santa brought him before the rest of us could get there she made him take a shower first.

The only thing Paul asked Santa for was Spike the Dinosaur which is a remote control dinosaur he was really happy with that gift. The other big gift he received is the Mach 5 bike aka Speed Racer bike. He has Thomas helmet which he doesn't want to wear anymore so he hasn't ridden the bike yet, as he needs a new helmet which he will probably get for his Birthday!

Paul was the one who got to pass out the presents he really liked this job as most of them were for him. He still opens the presents a piece of paper at a time not like most kids who rip it open he has to remove every piece of paper and tape.

The Cocks & Michaelos family!

We were trying to get Paul to smile without being cheesy but we didn't have much luck, he really has the cheesy smile down though.

This is a Thomas the Train set that Grandpa Dave bought him it was also a big hit. Not only did Paul enjoy this toy but so did one of his kittens Pandora.

Here is a picture of Pandora getting Thomas!

Family Portrait yes the guys are missing!

Me and Bert!

After the presents were opened and after breakfast we decided we would try out the Wii Fit. Above is a picture of Liane doing the Hula Hoop aerobic exercise, it was really funny watching her do this. We all enjoyed playing the Wii it is a blast if you don't have one you should because they are so fun!
Again we had an awesome Christmas and just wish we were able to spend the day with everyone! We hope everyone else had a wonderful day, and wish you all a Happy New Year!
